INFORMATIVE NOTE REGARDING PRIVACY

In compliance with art. 13, Legislative Decree n. 196/2003 (referred to hereinafter as Sole Act), and in relation to any personal data of which Eurocold srl may come into possession, you are advised as follows:

  1. Aims of the data handling.
    The aim of the data handling is to process the enquiry submitted via email, and also, wherever necessary, to contact the data subject.

  2. Data handling methods.
    a) The handling is carried out by means of the operations, or sets thereof, specified in art. 4, section 1, subsection a), of the Sole Act: collection, recording, organization, keeping, referencing, processing, modification, selection, retrieval, comparison, utilization, interconnection, blocking, communication, erasure and destruction of the data.
    b) The operations may be performed with or without the help of electronic, or in any case, automated, instruments.
    c) The handling is performed by the data controller and/or the members of staff appointed to this task.
    d)The computer and telecommunications systems and software procedures on which this website operates acquire certain data during standard operation (some of which may be of a personal nature) which is transmitted either as an implicit part of Internet communication protocols, or to help to improve site management, or to optimise the site (e.g. IP addresses, URLs, domain names, the time of the enquiry, file sizes, and other parameters relating to the user's operative system). These acquisition operations, which are performed solely for statistical purposes or to monitor site operation, have no commercial aims, nor are they intended, in any way, to identify the user; they are carried out by server-end technology which is run and administered by the data controller.

  3. Provision of the data.
    The provision of common personal or sensitive data, or data of a legal nature, is strictly necessary for the purpose of carrying out the activities outlined in point 1.

  4. Refusal to provide the data.
    The data subject's refusal to provide the personal data required as specified in point 3 shall make it impossible to perform the activities outlined in point 1.

  5. Communication of the data.
    The personal data may be disclosed to members of staff appointed to the handling thereof, and may also be communicated, for the aims outlined in point 1, to external associates, parties operating in the legal sector, to opposing parties and the defenders thereof, to arbitration boards and, in general, any parties who are required to be communicated the data in order to fulfil the aims outlined in point 1.

  6. Dissemination of the data.
    The personal data is not subject to dissemination.

  7. Transferral of data abroad.
    The personal data may be transferred to other European Union member states and other countries outside the European Union within the scope of the aims outlined in point 1.

  8. Rights of the data subject.
    Art. 7 of the Sole Act, entitles the data subject to apply specific rights, including the right to obtain confirmation from the data controller as to whether or not personal data concerning them exists, and to obtain the said data arranged in an intelligible form; the data subject is entitled to be informed of the source of the said data, the aims and methods of the handling thereof, the rationale applied to the said handling, the identification details of the data controller and any parties to which the data may have been communicated; furthermore, the data subject is entitled to obtain the updating, rectification or integration of the data and the erasure, anonymization or blocking of data that has been processed unlawfully; the data subject is also entitled to object, on legitimate grounds, to the use of the data.
